This artist-book, titled - Bharatpur Reinterpretation, is a collection of self-rejected photographs captured by me in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Rajasthan, as they were considered "mistakes" when they were shot in 2020. Observing them again in 2023 sparked a paradigm shift in my perception to reinterpret them as they revealed a lot more about the dynamic phenomenon called Bharatpur in terms of design, philosophy, art, nature, diversity, etc, in a poetic way.
This is an experimental booklet where the text has been treated as an image and is aligned based on the basic graphic elements in the image which creates a subtle conversation between image and text, rolling out symbolic meanings.
This book and the poster is the outcome of Advance Typography module of 1 week in semester 4 under the guidance of Ramu Aravindan.
