I worked intensely as a Production Design intern at Studio IF, under Bhargav Phadiyar (New Media Design, NID 2013 Alumini) at an Interactive Museum Design Project, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The Museum
Shrimad Rajchandra Adhyatmik Sadhna Kendra, is an ashram in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The museum was curated on the life of Atmanand Ji who started this Ashram. After he passed away, his Sant-Kutir (his home in the ashram) was converted into the museum.

Created graphic Design for large fabric panels creating a welcoming experience.

Worked with two different languages - Gujarati and English. (Even though I am not well versed in Gujarati).

In order to create an immersive user experience in the museum, we made various test prints and visual trials to check the sizes and placements for readability of text for real stone cut and photo frames to be placed.

I was allotted the responsibility of handling the film negative archives of the Ashram and scanning them and colour correcting them for printing and framing. Also spotting and healing the photos. One have to be very clinical while handling such delicate archives as they can get scratches if poorly handled.

I processed photos and frame sizes with fabric panel. The arrangement of the photos throughout the museum is such that it takes the viewer through the life journey of Atmanand Ji.

RFID Interactive installation.

Interactive touch display.

I created the UI/UX for this screen on Adobe XD showing different people connected with Atmanand Ji.

I made illustrations for fabric panel and Info cards.

I made UI/UX for another interactive touch display showing the world tour by Atmanand Ji.

I made the replica of his personal journal, diaries, notebooks and passports for glass box display using Photoshop and InDesign.

Passport replica with his other belongings.

Designed dummy books to show Atmanand Ji's library.

Extracted hand written mantra text from his old notebook and made a metal plate with mantra engraved on it.

Interactive New Media Installation - Small room with motion detection, through which the light glows in the Gujrati text and behind the curtain making Atmanand Ji's silhouette and Atmanand Ji's audio plays.
